Trinitario/Criollo beans from Tumaco municipality in Nariño in Colombia, which enjoys a hot humid climate with a contrast in landscape of rainforest meeting the Pacific coast.
Defined cocoa notes with a tropical fruit aroma. Bitter flavour resembling coffee and nutty malt notes with a subtle sweetness, with floral and fruity notes developing as the chocolate melts in the mouth.

The smoothness and shine of the bar and the crisp clean crack when you break off a piece indicate the high quality of this chocolate. The first bite fills your mouth with a strong flavour of pure chocolate liquor. I know chocolate liquor doesn't have liquor in it, but it almost tastes like it does. Then the flavour develops into a creamy, dark chocolate mouthful of heaven. Extremely satisfying for any dark chocolate fan!
