We are very pleased that at the International Chocolate Awards (ICA) World Final this year, we have won 2 awards:
- Silver for Rio de Janeiro (Banana Cardamom Caramel) in the "Milk chocolate enrobed caramels" category
- Bronze for Sydney (Mint & Miso) in the "Ganaches or truffles using mixed dark/milk/white for coating and fillings" category
Rio de Janeiro is one of our 2017 flavours and our 4th caramel to have won an award at the World Final, following the footsteps of Bangkok (Mango & Passion Fruit Caramel) in 2015, New York (Apple & Calvados Caramel) and Hong Kong (Soy Caramel) in 2016.
Sydney is now a triple award-winner - having won a Bronze award in the British National Competition of International Chocolate Awards in June, and also a Silver award at the Academy of Chocolate in April this year.
As with previous years, the ICA world final judging was held in London at the beginning of October, and the awards ceremony was on the Friday evening of the London Chocolate Show. This year, over 800 products from chocolatiers and chocolate makers around the world were entered into the World Final competition alone.
