Sunny Day in Primrose Hill

Published by Russell Pullan on 24th May 2014

It started warm, it got hotter, and finished very warm, and we had a lovely day at the Primrose Hill Festival last Sunday May 18th. For the day I made some strawberries dipped in milk chocolate and coconut and some chocolate Madeleines, as well as our usual selection of filled chocolates and the very beautiful Chocwich, which we are now selling loose at events.

A few customers said the Chocwich looked like jewellery because they look so beautiful. "Too good to eat" were a few comments, but I assure you they taste so tangy, and complement a glass of bubbly Prosecco or Champagne, as if they were made for each other. A customer drinking a glass of Sauvignon Blanc said they were a perfect match too; now that is another drink for us to try a "Pate De Fruit" Chocwich with.

Another customer who tried the "Paris" - Champagne and Grand Marnier filled chocolate said "That is heaven", So Heaven last Sunday was in Primrose Hill.

We survived the festival with lots of help from our dear friend Trish Bertram, and a very busy Phil Cowan, who later in the week was a candidate in the local council elections.
