We're a Finalist at the FoodTalk Awards 2017

We've been selected as one of the finalists in the "It's All In The Taste - Food" category at the  FoodTalk Awards 2017. While the awards ceremony is still approximately 6 weeks away (yes, we are counting down!), we are already excited about it.

For this category, the judges were looking for food product that uses unusual ingredients and combinations to achieve a wonderful taste profile. They analysed the visual appeal, texture and smell.; and more importantly, they had to do a blind taste test, so any packaging weren’t taken into account – it’s all in the taste!

This award is launched by FoodTalk Show, an internet radio show / podcast highlighting the work of food tech and artisan food makers in the UK. Last September Russell was interviewed by Sue Nelson and Lucy Ellis from the show - apart from talking about some of our more unusual chocolates, Sue and Lucy did a live tasting on quite a number of chocolates and gave their verdict. You can listen to the interview from this episode of FoodTalk Show (starting 25:40).

Last October our chocolates were also featured in the FoodTalk Unboxed event in London - different products were "unboxed" and reviewed by 3 panelists. Here's what happened when our chocolates were presented to the panelists.
