Trinitario/Criollo beans from the Huila region in Southwestern part of Colombia - a dry warm region with rich fertile soil thanks to the Nevado del Huila volcano and the Magdalena River flowing through the area.
A mild aroma and flavour of red berries with the sweetness of honey, apricot and floral notes coming through. The acidity combines with the cacao flavour and a hint of coffee note.
This chocolate was awarded 2 stars at the Great Taste Awards 2018.
