Trinitario/Criollo beans from the Southwestern part of Colombia, close to the Ecuador border, with a climate ranging from warm dry valleys in the Andes to hot humid weather towards the Pacific coast.
A mellow fruity aroma forms a prelude to the symphony of flavours in this chocolate. The characteristics of berries and plums and the sweetness of raisins and honey are finished off with a classic Colombian cacao note.
This chocolate bar has won a Gold Star at the Great Taste 2015 awards.
