Delivery

With the various restrictions imposed on traffic, disruptions to the transport systems and potentially movement of goods due to the coronavirus pandemic, there may be a delay to the shipping times relative to the published times below. Please note that this is beyond our control and we appreciate your understanding in this.

Orders are usually prepared and dispatched within 48 hours, and takes another 1-3 working days to be delivered to you. Therefore, you should allow a total of 5 working days for delivery after placing your order. Please note that during busy periods, particularly in the run-up to Christmas or Easter, delivery times may increase to 7 days. 

Please note that the orders will not be dispatched on a Friday or over the weekend, to avoid your chocolates sitting in transit. If you do require your order to be delivered on a particular date, please let us know and we will try our best to accommodate your request.

When you order the chocolates during the warmer seasons, please bear in mind that we do not have control over the temperatures during the delivery of your order and cannot be held responsible for any chocolates that have been affected by temperature. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions.

All deliveries are made by Royal Mail or courier (FedEx or UPS) - it requires a signature upon delivery of your order if your order is over £50 or if you have selected Royal Mail Signed For™ First Class delivery. If no one is at the address to accept and sign for a delivery a calling card will be left with a telephone number for you to arrange a re-delivery or collection from your local Royal Mail sorting office. Therefore you may find it useful to arrange your chocolate delivery to your place of work or to a family member or neighbour.

The price of the goods does not include a charge for delivery. The delivery charge (including VAT) is calculated automatically and shown on the website when you place your order. Delivery costs are per order/delivery address. If you need to send the products to multiple addresses please place each order separately.

 

EU / Europe Delivery - By Post (To a single delivery address)

The EU countries include: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France (inc Monaco), Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden. It also includes the Channel Islands (Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney, Herm and Sark), Andorra, Canary Islands, Gibraltar, San Marino, Holy See (Vatican City State).

The other European countries we deliver to include: Iceland, Norway and Switzerland.

US Delivery - By Post (To a single delivery address)

Unfortunately we do not currently deliver to the USA due to the heat in the summer months. We will start taking orders for the USA delivery again from September/October onwards

  • For International Tracked & Signed, we use Royal Mail / Parcelforce in the UK and the delivery in the US will usually be handled by USPS. This will take 7-14 working days to be delivered to your destination after placing your order. Please note that during busy periods (Nov-Dec, Mar-Apr), particularly in the run-up to Christmas or Easter, delivery times may increase to 21 days.
  • For courier service, we use FedEx or UPS, and this will take 4-7 working days to be delivered to your destination after placing your order. Please note that during busy periods (Nov-Dec, Mar-Apr), particularly in the run-up to Christmas or Easter, delivery times may increase to 10 days.

Delivery to other countries - By Courier (To a single delivery address)

For other countries, we may be able to arrange delivery depending on the destination. Please contact us directly and discuss your requirements. Note that we cannot guarantee the delivery times as they would also depend on customs clearance at the destination country, Please note that you will be responsible for the payment of any customs / import duty that may be incurred, and we cannot be held responsible for any delays in the delivery or any damages caused as a result of the delay.

 

Can I send my order to someone at an address other than my own?

Yes, just specify the shipping address (step 2 of checkout) to the destination you want your order to be sent to. Make sure you uncheck the box "My Billing address is the same as my Shipping address" just before the shippign method at this step. You will need to enter your billing address afterwards - make sure this is the same address you use for your payment method.

 

Can I send to multiple addresses in one order?

Unfortunately as the delivery charge is based on each shipping address, you will have to order separately for each address. However, you can group all the products to be sent to one address if you want to save on delivery costs.
